The 2026 Women of Distinction Luncheon benefits Dolly Parton's Imagination Library.

The deadline for nominations is Thursday, April 30, 2026.

What is a Woman of Distinction?

A Woman of Distinction of Greater Chattanooga sets herself apart through voluntary leadership or philanthropic activities in the Chattanooga area (Bledsoe, Bradley, Grundy, Hamilton, Marion, McMinn, Meigs, Polk, Rhea, and Sequatchie counties) and professional leadership and accomplishments in the business community.

She has demonstrated qualities of integrity, dedication, motivation, and leadership in the community. She serves with honor and personal dedication to goal achievement.

Extraordinary women make a difference in the lives of people every day. Some may be well known around town while others are quiet and unsung heroes. We want to recognize extraordinary women who have taken on the responsibility of making changes in our world for the better.

Nomination Requirements
- Nomination deadline – Thursday, April 30, 2026
- Only nominations completed on the official Nomination form will be accepted.
- Only nominations submitted electronically will be accepted.
- Incomplete Nomination forms will not be considered.
- Do not submit Nominee’s resume.
- Nomination forms will not be accepted after the deadline for submission.
- Letters of recommendation must be uploaded to this Nomination Form prior to submission.
- Nominations will not be held over to the following year.
- Updated Nomination forms are required for each year.
- Nominee must have lived in the Chattanooga area for a minimum of 5 years.
- Nominee must be aware that she is being nominated.
- Nominations cannot be amended once submitted. If additional information is to be included, the original nomination must be withdrawn and a new, complete nomination submitted. All nominations, including resubmissions, must be received by the stated deadline to be considered.

Honorees ARE REQUIRED to attend the Women of Distinction of Greater Chattanooga Awards Luncheon on Wednesday, November 4, 2026.

Honorees ARE REQUIRED to attend the Women of Distinction orientation meeting, June 24, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Boardroom of Signal Centers (109 N. Germantown Rd., Chattanooga, TN, 37411). HONOREE HEADSHOTS WILL BE MADE FOR CHATTER MAGAZINE AT THIS MEETING.

Honorees ARE ENCOURAGED to support the event with their time and by hosting or sponsoring at least one table of eight at the event.

Honorees ARE ENCOURAGED to attend the Women of Distinction Summer Soiree August 18, 2026.

To complete this nomination, your personal letter of recommendation (one page in length - no more than 300 words) is needed to give the selection committee insight into what makes your nominee a Woman of Distinction of Greater Chattanooga. Biographical information is helpful, but it is your personal recommendation that will help us "get to know” your nominee.

Please submit your letter of recommendation and at least one additional recommendation letter with your nomination. A maximum of three letters will be accepted. (More than one person may sign a letter.)
